Caribbean Young Believers’ Conference Forum

What is CYBC all about and for whom?

Our Broad Objectives

The Caribbean Young Believer’s Conference is managed by a steering committee comprising faithful brothers from every territory where our assemblies are located.

Caribbean Young Believers’ Conferences are scheduled for about five days every three years at one of the Bible Camp sites in the Caribbean owned and operated by brethren gathered to the name of the Lord Jesus.

The purpose of the conference is to allow participants to:

Sit under God's word as it is shared in relation to God’s will, ways, work and witness by edification, exhortation and comfort/encouragement;
Provide scriptural and timely guidance as it relates to the present needs of this generation and praying, supplicating and interceding about these;
Share experiences, ideas and ways to see our young people move forward in wisdom, stature, and in favour with God and man;
Praise and give thanks for the manifestations of the hand of God at work in their lives.

Our Management Committee

To prepare our youth for a lifelong walk with Christ

To help youth establish a deeper relationship with the Lord

To help them grow in the grace and the knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ, and to respond to Christ in a personal commitment of faith, and to follow God’s will for their life

To guide youth to witness about their personal faith in Jesus Christ and to invite others to respond to Him. This can be done through evangelism training, contacts, inviting youth to visit w/ you, etc.

To help youth develop a meaningful and devotional prayer life.

To help youth gravitate towards the Assembly with a commitment to worship and in the Remembrance of our Lord honoring and answering to His Dying request to “Remember me”

To guide youth to participate in Christian missions and help them develop the skills these ministries require.

To help youth increase their knowledge and understanding of Bible truths and to apply these truths in every area and relationship of their life. This involves discipleship, allowing youth to teach children, being a role model.
